SongLoft is a boutique music house and production studio in the heart of vibrant Greenpoint, Brooklyn. We create custom original music and offer quick sync licensing from our existing library.

Our newly opened recording facility features a state-of-the-art mixing and tracking room, along with a hand-picked selection of top-tier recording equipment.

SongLoft owner Chris Villepigue has built a music career spanning more than 20 years. He has delivered music for a wide range of commercial clients, including Sunday Night Football, ESPN, Kraken Rum, Dawn, Texaco, Time Warner Cable, Liz Claiborne, Scholastic, Ford, Microsoft, and Pixar.

His music has also been featured in trailers for films such as The Ritual Killer (Morgan Freeman), The Housemaid, No Country for Old Men, Monsters University, Sin City, and Rush Hour 3 and Messi’s World Cup (Apple TV).

Chris earned a B.A. in Music Composition from Vassar College and an Associate of Science in Recording Arts from Full Sail University. Beyond composition, performance, and mixing, he also works as a post-audio engineer and spent several years on staff at ESPN headquarters.
